Dublin day 2
The next day was my only full day in Dublin. When I woke up it was raining so I took my time as the weather forecast had said it would get better around noon. I left the hotel around 11 and went to Trinity College where the famous Old Library is. It was really interesting (but crowded).
When I got out I walked a bit around the Campus and then suddenly the sun came out. So I took some more pics. After that I went back to exploring Dublin. After a couple of hours I went back to the hotel to rest a bit. Later in the afternoon I left again to go to our Dublin office where I had promised to meet a colleague. She showed me the office and then we left for one of the oldest pubs in Dublin. Walking over the sun was out but we saw the dark clouds coming. We barely made it into the pub when it started raining again… Here are the pics…
Wow. Die Architektur, das wäre ja was für mich. Der schiefe Turm an der schrägen Brücke – phantastisch!
Aber auch die „normalen“ Häuschen – (m)ein Traum. Sehr schön gesehen!
Ach und nicht zu vergessen, die Bibliothek! Die ist soo schön!!! Da wäre ich wohl ewig hängengeblieben.
