Wrecking myself…
Well, after the 3 dives yesterday last night common sense kicked in and I remembered that there is a reason why I didn’t go to Tonga. So I decided to do only two dives today and tomorrow. I had an appointment with Lisa for an early morning dive at 7 AM. When I left my bungalow to go to the dive area, the mat on the steps gave way and sent me flying down the stairs. So the first thing that Lisa had to do was put desinfectant on my bloody arm. The dive was really nice (I love it when the reef wakes up). Originally I wanted to skip the morning dive and go again in the afternoon but the morning dive was to a dive site that I really wanted to dive so I went there. On the boat I hurt my left foot which is okay since I have a big blister below the right foot so there is not a lot left that I haven’t hurt today… 😀
We had lunch after the dives (again excellent food!) and afterwards worked on pics for the blog and then went to take pictures around the resort (to follow probably tomorrow). Today I give you dive-pics. 🙂 Generally diving here is really nice. The visibility is incredible. On the second dive I think it was at least 50 meters (about 150 ft). There are lots of nice colourful corals. Lots of fish and generally intact reefs. This afternoon I saw a lot of dead table corals but that might have been due to a cyclone. Still have to ask Lisa and Bill about it….
A nudibranch (showing the tail and hiding the head).
Flat worm…
I didn’t know what this was… I was thinking about a sponge… but then I got my doubts whether this could be a nudibranch and when I asked Lisa she conrfirmed that this actually IS a nudi.
Three flatworms… I can only guess what they were doing… 😀
Bill flirting with a clownfish… 😉
Toll!
Danke Euch! 🙂
