I’ve been tagged…
When I got up this morning I had an email saying ‚You’ve been tagged‘. Gee, thanks a lot that’s what I need to read when I am up but not yet awake… 😀 Then I had to find out who tagged me and what I needed to do. Answer to that was: Char and I had to answer some questions (in this order). Since I had to be in the office early for a conference call I had a good excuse to postpone this…
After work I went to a meeting with the divers who are going to Egypt on monday. We will be 28 persons and I will share my room with Gitta. Gitta and I established today that we both don’t snore and that it is not probable that we both jump up in the mornings singing happy songs (that came out when we were told that the boat leaves at 8 AM in the mornings and we both were like ‚WHAT???? We are on vacation, let us sleep till 9‘). So I guess we will get along well for that week… 😀
Oh yeah, postponing the answers and finding excuses will not lead me anywhere so I’ll do my duty now. If any of you wants to be tagged as well (and afterwards answer all those questions) please let me know since I read only a handful of blogs and don’t really know who reads MY blog… 😉
Char, I copied the questions but I will delete your answers and fill in my own… 🙂
What are your top 3 favorite foods? This is difficult since I do like a lot of food I don’t have to cook myself. I love grilled duck, chocolate (for the nerves) and vanilla joghurt.
What was the last book you read and would you recommend it? Donna Kauffmann: ‚The Royal Hunter‘ – if you are on a plane for 11 hours and don’t have anything else to do: it keeps you awake…
What are your top 3 favorite places? There are so many places I like. I would love to return to Rurutu (Island in French Polynesia) to snorkel with the humpback whales again, love Sardinia and New York.
What was the last lie you told? Don’t remember. I am awfully honest (this is now probably my last lie 😀 ).
What are your favorite 3 sports (to watch or participate in)? Diving, diving and diving. 😀
What was the last movie you watched and would you recommend it? Forgot the name: it was that american football player whose 8 year old daugher shows up at his doorstep (he didn’t even know he had a daughter till then) and has to take care about here for 2 weeks. I liked it (watched it on the plane when I was tired of the Donna Kauffmann book… 😀 ).
List 3 things you can see outside of the nearest window. The sky, the Cologne cathedral and a subway-construction site.
Where was the last place you went? Do you mean the office today? Or vacation? If the later: it was the Philippines.
What are your top 3 favorite good causes or charities?
Plan International (I support two girls in Thailand and Guinea Bissau through them), World Wildlife Funds and the Dombau Verein in Cologne (this is a society which collects money to restore our cathedral in Cologne). There are a lot of other good causes too and I support others occasionally as well.
What was the last thing you did for someone else?
I bought tuna mayonaise for my dad in Zurich last week.
Name 3 places you have never been that you want to visit. St. Petersburg, Patagonia and the rest of the world.
What was the last thing you threw in the garbage/recycling?A piece of paper with the train connections to the divers meeting today
Name 3 things on your bedside table. A lamp, alarm-clock/radio, ear plugs.
Describe or name the last piece of art you looked at.
Not sure what art means in this case… if in a museum – don’t remember the last time I was in one.
What are the top 3 things that your job requires you to think about? Data, data and data.
What was the last musical or theatrical event that you attended? Went to the opera at carnival for a special event they always have at carnival.
What are the first 3 things you would do if you won the lottery? Think about what to do with the money, dream of a few things and then probably invest it somehow.
Describe or name the last serious injury or illness you had? Thyroid under-function.
What are the top 3 things that you wish you could do?
Travel more, dive more and take better pictures.
What was the last thing that someone said to you that you will remember forever? Can I skip that? 😉

You are on my blogroll!
Thanks Ellen for the ‚counter-comment‘. And Angie, thanks for ‚outing‘ yourself. I don’t have much time to check my logs (I do that every now and then to check if people stole pictures from my websites) but when I do I see that people open my blog. I just have no way to check who they are. 🙂
Thanks for reading my blog! 🙂 Will check your blogs this weekend and probably add you to my blogg roll too.
