SA-Botswana – day 11

I woke up very early again. No more game drives though. I finished packing and walked around a bit to take some pics of the tent and the area around it. Didn’t see any monkeys or the ostrich that had visited other tents. I noticed that there were signs with the names on the trees around my tent. Then it was time to leave and go back to the airport in Johannesburg. It felt that the entire road was one big construction site. We went straight to the airport and had lunch there. Checking in and going through security was a bit crazy and I was sweating when I thought they would make me check in my fotobag (never!!!). But finally we made it through. We did some shopping and went to the gate. After a while they asked us to leave the sitting area for our gate and we had to go back in by showing passport and boarding passes. And then we were assigned seating areas based on our ticket class (boarding groups). A bit unusual… Flight was normal but I didn’t sleep a lot. Then train to Cologne…. and I was home again. With lots of pics and wonderful memories. 🙂
