Norway 2021 – Day 3 nighttime
That day we had a tour with Marianne for the Northern lights. Since the sky was clear we went to the fjords again where we had been the day before. While we were driving we had to watch out and we would stop every now and then so Markus who had the seat in front next to Marianne could take a shot to check if there was green in the sky. We were not too far away from Tromso when we actually had some green on the shot so we stopped to take pics – and boy what a show this was. Pics are all like out of the cam – didn’t have time to process them all yet. When the show finished we continued the same way as the day before. Clouds were moving in. We stopped at the property of Marianne’s family at the fjord. The good thing is: this is private property – and if there had been other people Marianne would have been able to ask them to leave. Haha, I love being privileged. 😉 😀
That evening we were alone – at least we didn’t see any other tours. Marianne had brought wood as there was a stove inside a small cabin. She had brought soup too and sausages and marshmallows that we could grill in the fire. Personally I didn’t stay long inside as I just have to take pics. There was still green over the fjord even if it was only behind the clouds. After everyone was finished eating we did some light-painting. Took me three tries to write my name correctly… 😀 It was fun though. After that we went to the Winter toilet again and from there up the hill to a view-point from where we took some more pics. It was a bit greenish but too cloudy… When we were back in Tromso Marianne drove over to the Ice Cathedral so we could take pictures of the illuminated window on the back-side. Which is really beautiful…
