Auckland again – 4 and going home

During my last day in Auckland I want to a square that I hadn’t been to yet. As I was very tired I didn’t walk that much but still wanted to see an area that I hadn’t been to yet. It was not too far from my hotel either so I liked the walk over and that Maori-arc that is on that square.
The next day I went to the airport early in the morning and flew back to Singapore. We were late so I didn’t have a lot of time in Singapore. From my trips to Indonesia I am used to have about 7 hours in Singapore so I could roam all three terminals but this time there was not enough time. Arriving in Frankfurt after about 24 hours on a plane was exhausting. Interestingly my suitcases arrived very fast and about 1.5 hours after landing I was back in Cologne. That was a new record for me I think. The train ride takes 55 minutes and I just jumped on the train when the doors were closing.
Once home I realized how exhausting this vacation had been for me – but I am still glad I did this. And would do it again in a heartbeat. 🙂
