Okay, let’s show you a bit more of the island before getting back to the whales. What you see here is the best burger/sandwich shop on the island. They are open only during lunch time and close when they have no more food. They are next to the airport and there is a ’shopping‘-center with a super market and a liquor store. There is another shopping center in Alofi – the biggest town on Niue. They even have a mail-box for postcards in Alofi. We started a test to see if post cards would ever arrive in Germany. And they actually did. Took 2 weeks to arrive. Maybe partly because we corrected the word ‚EMAIL‘ we understood we were supposed to write on them to ‚AIR MAIL‘. 😀

One afternoon I went to the pool for happy hour. My ‚Froze‘ tasted like water though so I didn’t do it again. Had some action while sitting on my terrace and being in the water we were with mom, baby and the escort again…
