Iceland 26 – day 8

The next day we didn’t have any plans. It was very windy so I stayed mostly at the hotel. There were some nice buildings close by so I went for walk to take some pics but walking back to the hotel against the wind was a bit hard. 😉 My friend had done some scouting for a northern light location and in hindsight I have to say that she had a very good judgement. We went to the supermarket in the afternoon and back to our Kaffi Hornid for an early dinner. When it got dark we got out and the lady was already dancing. Unfortunately I had forgotten my Ibuprofen at the hotel because I had a headache. For a while I was okay though and it was so beautiful to see the northern lights dancing again. But then clouds came in and activity was mostly over the city. Which means – too much light to take nice pics. So I went back to the hotel and to sleep but there was more northern lights in that night… 🙂
