Iceland 26 – day 12

The next morning I had my relaxed breakfast again and then I went back to the river again. The ice had melted a bit so I could walk around some more. Later in the day my friend came back to get me and we went to our next cabin. It was not too far from Selfoss, about 1 km from a main street. We got into our cabins and then went out again to explore the area a bit. We found a thermal area where I sent up my drone again. I loved doing that close to rivers. Only in winter it is not possible to get the drone pictures that I have been dreaming of for a while now. We saw the tomato farm where you can go and eat tomato soup. 😉 Several churches… when there is a sign to a church – we drove there. 😉
We were looking forward to the evening because the sky was supposed to be clear and we hoped for northern lights. Boy – did we get a phantastic show…. 🙂 It was one of those nights where I want to finally go to bed because I am tired or my legs don’t want me to stand any more and I never go back inside. Or I go inside – double check and am back outside again. 😀 Took pics for several hours.
