When I woke up the next morning I was miserable. I went to breakfast but didn’t eat anything and went back to my bed. Since I had a fever I started to think about going home early. But didn’t decide anything. I was just miserable and stayed in bed all day. The next morning I still had a fever and then decided to go home the next day. When I am sick I want my own bed. So I booked a new flight and cancelled the other one. Later in the day I felt a bit better so I went to the Market that I really had wanted to see. There is a botanical garden up the hill where you can go by a cable railway but with three cruise ships in the harbor the lines are usually very long. From the botanical gardens you can go downhill in baskets and I had read that the lines for that were very long as well. So going up there for me was a no-go. My room was a bit dark so in the afternoon I went on the rooftop terrasse again. Since it is a bar I had to drink something so I treated myself to a virgin mojito. Good decision, it was good!
On my last morning I had pasteis de nata again. I LLOOOVVEEEEE them. 😉 🙂 At the airport everything went well and then we left. I had a last glimpse of the Pico do Arrieiro coming up above the clouds. And then I was home again. 🙂
