Madeira 4
The next day we could sleep in. Weather was too bad to even try to take pics. Very windy and lots of rain. So we spent part of the morning with some workflows/info on photo-editing tools. When the wind lessened and it cleared up we went to a lighthouse (Miradouro do Farol da Ponta do Pargo) to check out if it is a good photo-spot. As nice as the lighthouse might look – the answer is no. In addition there were lots of instagrammers who kept filming close to the edge of the cliffs and I kept waiting for them to fall off. Not my kind of people. What I hadn’t noticed while taking pics there was that the ocean was so colorful. That must have been because the rain washed down soil in different colors into the sea.
After our session there we went over to the sea stacks close to Porto Moniz (Miradouro Ilheus da Ribeira da Janela) and again I am proud of myself that I climbed over the rocks to take pics. I didn’t go as close to the water as the others did. Good for me because I couldn’t have run away as fast as they did when one of the last waves was a bit higher than the others. 😉 But I really love the milky fog over the stones on my pics. 🙂 After that we went back to Funchal and had dinner.
