Back in Tromso – Whales and northern lights

I can’t get up early to go out with the whales when the evening before I have been out to chase northern lights. So what do I do? I get up early – go out for the whales and after I get back I relax a bit and then go out again for northern lights. 😀 I know that I can’t do a lot the next day but didn’t matter. The ferry out of Tromso looking for whales was actually three of them. Same boat I was on when I went to Trolfjord in Svolvaer in September. What was different was the show of how to get into the orange suits in case of emergency. 😀 I have seen lots of orcas over the years but in all those years I saw only one orca jump out of the water. That day on the ferry I saw three. Caught only one tail on a pic as they are too fast when they jump. We had some phantastic light in the sky as well. And I liked the tour so much that I booked another one for two days later. 😀 Aaaand 4 weeks ago I booked another tour where I will go back with them for one week this year. 😀 😉
In the evening we headed out towards the fjords again. We stayed at Marianne’s cabin first where the lights were there but not very strong. Then we got in the bus and headed towards Tromvik again but stopped on the street because the lady started to dance. There is the milky way in between. Then finally we went up on the mountain again where we had northern lights but not very strong. But still nice.
