Planning is going on

Happy New Year everyone!

Wasn’t able to write as I somehow caught a virus and spent NYE in bed instead of being with my friends. At midnight it was strange… I know that the idiots never know what time it is so they start firing rockets at 11 PM and half an hour before the year is over the city is already full of smoke (or should I say smog)? When it was midnight it was suddenly black outside. I couldn’t even see our cathedral any more (and I live CLOSE) to it. This is how DARK it was… scary somehow…

Being in bed gave me time though to think about more travel plans. The evening before I got sick I saw the show ‚Ka‘ of the Cirque du Soleil which had been shot in Las Vegas. Since I always wanted to go back to Vegas to watch the show ‚O‘ by Cirque du Soleil as well my newest idea was to fly over to Vegas from Dallas since I have promised to visit my friends in Dallas later on this year. I am leaning towards early September but I am not yet sure whether this will all work out… my friend Rita in Dallas will be my partner in crime again… 🙂 What we plan to do in Vegas is not really to gamble all the time but go to several places outside of Vegas, like the Death Valley, Valley of the Fire, Antelope Canyon, Bryce Canyon and maybe Zion NP and Monument Valley. I would love to go back and I am dying to make foto sessions in Antelope Canyon… keep your fingers crossed that we can go as there are still some question marks which can be answered only later this year…

Philippines will be booked on monday. The travel agency was somehow slow with answering so this is why this is not yet fix. But I AM looking forward to it… only 8 more weeks to go…
